Student Sick Clinic

The Glendale Campus provides students with a comprehensive health center on campus. The Student Sick Clinic began in 2008 and was expanded in June of 2009. The Sick Clinic is located in the Midwestern University Multi-Specialty Clinic. Sick students are seen by an osteopathic family medicine physician daily between 7:00am - 8:00am, and by a Physician Assistant on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays between 8:00am - 1:00pm.  Saturday hours are available as well from 8:00am - 12:00 noon. No appointment is necessary.  The Student Sick Clinic is designed for students who develop acute medical issues only. There is no co-pay and visit expenses are not typically applied to their health insurance, unless there is lab work required.

Students who are on the Aetna Student Health Plan can also obtain their annual wellness physicals through the Physician Assistant that is assigned to the Student Sick Clinic with no associated co-pay.  Lab work (including Pap smears) may not be covered by insurance.

Students experiencing long-standing or routine medical issues can been seen as regular patients in the Midwestern University Multi-Specialty Clinic by the physicians, and their health insurance will be billed accordingly.
